In all honesty, *ARAI* was one of the first stores i noticed in the KnK mall, this was before i knew Yuki and before he asked me to be the blogger. i just remember seeing this store and instantly thinkin it was way cool, and it still is one of my favs. I love all our vendors, i think the mix is perfect, and *ARAI*'s contribution to this is very much a stylish, swanky and young approach to cosplay. His skins are highly detailed, very lifelike, and for the most part INCREDIBLY priced.. 80L a skin, like, where are you going to find that in SL. i could go all day about the cool stuff that Mappy Handrick makes but what im wanting to show today is his latest in (what i think is very clever) School Uniform Series.
This white baseball uniform is not The Furies from "the Warriors", tho this could be an awesome outfit to build an avie like that-Lol. No, this is his answer to the great American past time. The Jock of the high school yard. The tough kids at practice. I dig it :D
its done in very smooth textures, bright vivid colors and has a few options. A sculpty belt for when you wear the jacket closed, jacket open with undershirt, and just jacket open for that 'after practice' look. The sleeves and cuffs are sculpty as well.. all in all, a very well made outfit!!
