Alice (アリス, Arisu^?) is a half-elf leader of the Vanguard's army's Battle Combat system. Although she appears to be pure and innocent, she is actually very selfish and sadistic. She believes power is needed to survive, and as such, she despises Marta, whom she thinks of as a powerless girl who always relies on those around her, such as Brute and Ratatosk. With the aid of a special Exsphere-driven machine, she brainwashes monsters to do her bidding. She takes advantage of Decus' feelings for her and treats him as a slave. She abuses the monsters under control and her subordinates, giving them harsh beatings with her whip-like rapier. In the past, her parents were killed by monsters when they were forced to go on a pilgrimage by the Church of Martel. Afterwards she was put in an orphanage where she was discriminated against for being a half-elf. One day, she found a book where a demon was sealed and made a pact with it, enabling her to control monsters.^[103] When Decus was framed for stealing by the director of the orphanage, Alice ordered her monsters to destroy the orphanage. After Lloyd and the others burned the Forbidden book, she lost her power to control monsters.^[103] During the battle in the Ginnugagap, Decus is killed protecting her. Realizing she loved Decus, she tries to avenge Decus but she's killed by Marta. Her seiyū is Mami Kingetsu and her English voice actor is Janice Kawaye.
